Restylane® and Perlane®

Restylane and Perlane® are made of hyaluronic acid. In the human body, natural hyaluronic acid provides volume and fullness to the skin. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane and Perlane has been modified slightly to last longer than the body’s hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane and Perlane is produced by a biotechnical process.

Restylane and Perlane are hydrophilic or "water loving." The hydrophilic nature of these hyaluronic acid molecules and their three dimensional structure allows them to bind many times their own weight in water. As hyaluronic acid begins to degrade, each molecule binds to more water which helps to maintain its volume for about six months.

Juvederm®

Juvéderm® is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Your healthcare professional eases Juvéderm™ injectable gel under the skin to instantly restore your skin’s volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, like your “smile lines” or “parentheses” (nasolabial folds—the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth).

Sculptra®Aesthetic

Sculptra®Aesthetic (injectable poly-L-lactic acid), is a cosmetic facial injectable that works gradually, resulting in a more youthful looking appearance that can last up to two years. Sculptra®Aesthetic is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a treatment indicated for the correction of shallow to deep nasolabial fold (smile lines) contour deficiencies and other facial wrinkles which are treated with the appropriate injection technique in healthy people. 

Wrinkles and folds associated with aging become apparent, primarily through the breakdown of collagen. Sculptra®Aesthetic helps the body replace lost collagen to provide a more youthful looking appearance.

A treatment regimen of Sculptra®Aesthetic, an average of three injection sessions over a few months, has been shown to help correct facial lines and wrinkles by replacing lost collagen over time to provide noticeable results that can last up to two years.  Sculptra®Aesthetic is made from poly-L-lactic acid, which has been safely used for the past 25 years in resorbable stitches.  It is biocompatible (a material that does not harm the body) and biodegradable (able to be broken down by the body). Injectable poly-L-lactic acid has also been widely used in Europe for close to a decade for cosmetic treatment.

We offer MediSpa services provided by our Licensed Esthetician, including Complimentary Consultations on skin care treatments and products, Clinical Facials, Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion, MicroPeel, Dermaplaning, Facial Waxing and Brow and Lash tinting.  Our Cosmetic Coordinator offers complimentary consultations on skin care products and all cosmetic procedures including Botox, Fillers, IPL, and Thermage.  She also offers regular seminars with live demonstrations.  Call for an appointment at our office that is most convenient .

Sclerotherapy

Spider veins are unsightly, small clusters of red, blue or purple veins that commonly appear on thighs, calves and ankles. Sclerotherapy is a simple procedure where these veins are injected with a sclerosing solution that causes the veins to collapse and fade from view. It is a painless procedure.
