Jeffrey Johnson, PA-C, DSDPA
Jeff is a 1995 graduate of the United States Air Force Physician Assistant program. He completed his training as an honor graduate at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Prior to P.A. School, he was an instructor of Laboratory Medicine at the School of Health Care Sciences at Sheppard AFB, Texas.
While on active duty, he was chosen as Physician Assistant of the Year on two separate occasions and twice the Officer of the Year as well. A gifted speaker, he routinely lectures within our community, across the state of Florida and with the Lecture Series Development Program for the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He has given dermatology lectures across the country. He remains active in committee work with the Florida Academy of PA’s and serves as the Chairperson of the Legislative Affairs Committee for the Society of Dermatology PAs.
In 2009, Jeff was designated "Distinguished Fellow" by the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Less than 1% of the Physician Assistants in the country have earned this distinction. He was also selected by his peers as the 2005 National Dermatology Physician Assistant of the Year.
Jeff is proficient in General Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology. Jeff enjoys the Water’s Edge approach to patient care, because it is based on the exceptional quality of care that has been established by Dr. Schiff and is provided by each and every practitioner within our clinic. Jeff is married to Robin and they have three sons, Drew, James and Noah.
