Danica Alexander, D.O.
Dr. Alexander practices all aspects of dermatology including adult and pediatric, surgery and cosmetic. She has published various articles in dermatology journals and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Alexander is a graduate of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences receiving both Cum Laude and Psi Sigma Alpha honors. Prior to medical school, Dr. Alexander graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. She continued her Nutrition training in the San Diego VA Healthcare System becoming a Registered Dietitian, a license she also currently maintains.
Dr. Alexander resides in Lake Worth, FL with her husband and four adopted cats. She enjoys staying active in the community and has previously volunteered at the Dermatology Clinic at the Caridad Center in Boynton Beach providing medical care to migrant workers and their families. She has also volunteered to medically assist injured victims of past Florida hurricanes. Other activities Dr. Alexander enjoys include traveling, kayaking, hiking, biking, yoga, and pilates.
