Palm Beach Gardens, FL – Water’s Edge Dermatology announced today that Dr. John Koziarski has joined The Vein Center at Water’s Edge Dermatology. Dr. Koziarski is double board certified in surgery and venous & lymphatic medicine and has been practicing as a general and vascular surgeon in Battle Creek, Michigan since 1994. Dr. Koziarski is providing vein care services in the Water’s Edge Dermatology offices in Avon Park, Fort Pierce, Palm Bay, Sebastian and Vero Beach.
Dr. Koziarski earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Toledo (formerly the Medical College of Ohio) in Toledo, Ohio, where he also completed a general surgery internship and residency. During the final year of his residency, Dr. Koziarski was honored with being selected as Chief Resident. During this time, he also joined the US Army Reserves, where he served eight years and achieved the rank of Major while working as a general surgeon at Ft. Benning in Georgia.
Dr. Koziarski is a member of several medical associations and societies including the American College of Surgeons, American vein and Lymphatic Society, American Venous Forum and the Institute for Functional Medicine. He has also contributed to several publications, including “Factors associated with recurrence of varicose veins after thermal ablation: Results of the REVATA Study” with Dr. Ronald Bush and Peggy Bush, APRN, also employed at The Vein Center at Water’s Edge Dermatology.
