About Dr. Rabionet

Alejandro Rabionet, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care through medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He is bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing him to effectively communicate with and care for a diverse patient population. Dr. Rabionet is passionate about helping patients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin by delivering individualized treatment plans tailored to each person’s unique goals and needs.

Dr. Rabionet earned his undergraduate degree in Integrative Biology from the University of Florida Honors College. He then received a Master of Science in Biotechnology and a Graduate Certificate in Bioinformatics from the University of South Florida. Subsequently, he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. During medical school, he completed a Scholarly Concentration in Biomedical Research, earned the Outstanding Student Award in Dermatology, and was selected to serve as a Department of Dermatology Medical Student Research Fellow. He then completed both his internship in Internal Medicine and his Dermatology Residency at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and its affiliated hospitals, including Moffitt Cancer Center and Tampa General Hospital.

Dr. Rabionet specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology, with particular interests in skin cancer detection and prevention, aesthetic treatments, and regenerative approaches to skin and hair restoration. He values the opportunity to educate patients, empower them to make informed decisions about their skin health, and develop treatment plans that align with their values and lifestyle. Dr. Rabionet is board-certified in dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD). He is also an active member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS).

Originally born in New York City and raised in South Florida, Dr. Rabionet is proud to care for patients within the community that helped shape his passion for health, wellness, and building meaningful relationships. He believes that community involvement is an important extension of practicing medicine and volunteers with the Caridad Center while participating in educational initiatives focused on skin cancer awareness, sun safety, and skin health education. Outside of the office, Dr. Rabionet enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, traveling, exploring new restaurants and experiences, and keeping up with emerging advancements in dermatology and regenerative medicine. Through both his professional and community involvement, he is committed to helping individuals make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
