Brooke Hazy, APRN, FNP-C, is a dedicated nurse practitioner specializing in medical and surgical dermatology with nearly 20 years of experience caring for patients at Water’s Edge Dermatology. Her career reflects a deep passion for skin health, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and long-standing dedication to the communities she serves.

Brooke began her dermatology career at Water’s Edge Dermatology in 2006 and has advanced through multiple clinical and leadership roles. She brings extensive experience in medical and surgical dermatology, wound care, and patient education, with a strong focus on preventive skin health and early intervention to support long-term wellness and confidence.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indian River State College and completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Her approach emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care and empowering patients to feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their skin health.

Outside of work, Brooke is a lifelong South Florida resident who values family, balance, and time outdoors. She and her family embrace rural living on their mini farm, caring for a variety of animals. She also enjoys spending time on the water and boating, always practicing sun safety. Brooke is excited to continue caring for patients and helping them feel confident in their skin.
