John Koziarski, MD
Dr. Koziarski is double board certified in surgery and venous & lymphatic medicine. He has been practicing as a general and vascular surgeon in Battle Creek, Michigan since 1994. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Toledo (formerly the Medical College of Ohio) in Toledo, Ohio, where he also completed a general surgery internship and residency. During the final year of his residency, Dr. Koziarski was honored with being selected as Chief Resident. During this time, he also joined the US Army Reserves, where he served eight years and achieved the rank of Major while working as a general surgeon at Ft. Benning in Georgia.
Dr. Koziarski is a member of several medical associations and societies including the American College of Surgeons, American Vein and Lymphatic Society, American Venous Forum and the Institute for Functional Medicine. He has also contributed to several publications, including “Factors associated with recurrence of varicose veins after thermal ablation: Results of the REVATA Study.”
