About Katie Atwood
Born and raised on the Treasure Coast, Katherine “Katie” Atwood enjoys serving the community that has always been her home. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with honors from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, followed by a master’s degree in medicine from Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss.
As a certified physician assistant, she champions regular skin exams to detect the resulting consequences of too much sun exposure. When she’s not working, Katie enjoys family time, horseback riding, traveling, boating and fishing.
“I have always been interested in skin and numerous disease states that accompany it. My passion for dermatology made me want to help people as a PA.”
