About Mollie Wilt

Mollie Wilt, PA-C, MPAS, MS, is a certified physician assistant who brings years of dedicated service in dermatology to the Water’s Edge Dermatology team. With a Master of Physician Assistant Studies and an M.S. in Medical Sciences from the University of South Florida, her educational background is extensive and solidly founded in science, having first earned her B.S. in microbiology and cell science at the University of Florida.

Her commitment to the field is further evidenced by her certification as a Diplomate Fellow with the SDPA, an achievement that highlights her depth of knowledge and expertise in dermatology. Mollie’s approach to care prioritizes patient education and the management of dermatological conditions, aiming to improve her patients’ quality of life through informed and personalized treatment plans.

Before joining our team, Mollie contributed significantly to the next generation of healthcare professionals by teaching at The USF Morsani College of Medicine PA program. This role showcased her dedication not only to patient care but also to advancing the profession through education.

Originally from Lake Worth, Fla., Mollie now calls Inverness, Fla., home, where she lives with her husband, Kevin Wilt, their son, and two dogs. Away from her clinical responsibilities, she enjoys supporting Gator athletics, spending time with her family on the water, or in Georgia, emphasizing the importance of a balanced life.

Mollie is excited to extend her expertise to the patients of Ocala, focusing on delivering quality dermatological care.
