About Dr. Mandy
Stephen Mandy, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist with more than 53 years of experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of skin conditions. Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Mandy has been dedicated to providing exceptional patient care while contributing to the advancement of dermatology through leadership, education, and innovation. His extensive experience, combined with his passion for the ever-evolving field of dermatology, allows him to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Dr. Mandy believes that one of the most rewarding aspects of practicing medicine is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of his patients. He finds great fulfillment in helping patients achieve healthier skin and improved quality of life and considers a happy, dedicated patient to be one of the profession’s greatest rewards. Known for his thoughtful and experienced approach, Dr. Mandy takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
Originally from the Baltimore, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. area, Dr. Mandy has called Florida home for more than 50 years. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held numerous leadership roles within organized dermatology, including serving as President of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and President of the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Dermatology and has received national recognition for his outstanding contributions and service to the specialty.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Mandy has maintained a longstanding commitment to academic medicine and education. He has served as a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami and has authored numerous textbook chapters, journal publications, and commentaries related to dermatologic and cosmetic surgery. His dedication to advancing the field has helped shape best practices and educate future generations of dermatology professionals.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Mandy enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through fitness and Pilates and spending time in his home art studio. He also has a passion for travel, adventure, painting, fine dining, and wine collecting. Above all, he values time spent with family and is the proud father of a talented daughter.
