At The Vein Center at Water’s Edge Dermatology, our vascular surgeons are experts in the treatment of vein disorders and cosmetic veins. They are dedicated to diagnosing and treating only vein disease. They can diagnose and treat every vein condition from spider veins to large varicose veins to vein ulcers to symptoms involving the legs, face, hands and other parts of the body. No case is beyond their expertise and experience.

Ronald Bush, MD, FACS
Dr. Ronald Bush is a board-certified vascular surgeon who is highly skilled at performing venous procedures. He also has been board certified in surgery, thoracic surgery and laser surgery, giving him a high level of expertise not often found in a community setting. His knowledge and skill as a surgeon qualify him as a fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
John Koziarski, MD
Double board-certified in venous & lymphatic medicine and surgery, Dr. John Koziarski earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Toledo (formerly the Medical College of Ohio) in Toledo, Ohio, where he also completed a general surgery internship and residency. During the final year of his residency, Dr. Koziarski was honored with being selected as Chief Resident. During this time, he also joined the US Army Reserves, where he served eight years and achieved the rank of Major while working as a general surgeon at Ft. Benning in Georgia.
Luke Maj, MD, MHA
Board-certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Luke Maj earned a medical degree at Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed a radiology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also pursued fellowship training in MRI neuroradiology and musculoskeletal imaging at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from St. Joseph’s College in Maine.
Scott R Meisel, DO
Dr. Scott R. Meisel, D.O. is a highly skilled, double board certified, surgeon. After his medical training in New York at both Beth Israel and Nassau University Medical Centers, Dr. Meisel expanded his training and completed several fellowship programs in surgical critical care, hand surgery and burn, critical care. He has been in private practice for over 15 years caring for both general and vascular surgery patients. For the past 5 years, he honed his practice and sub-specialized in vascular medicine and vein disease management.
Shireen Bower, APRN
Shireen Bower is a dual board-certified registered nurse and family nurse practitioner with a bachelor’s degree in health science from SUNY Cortland, New York and a master’s degree in nursing from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts.
Peggy Bush, APRN
A board-certified adult health clinical nurse specialist, Peggy Bush has more than 30 years of professional nursing experience. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and a master’s degree in nursing from Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing, also in Peoria.
Gabriel M. Youssef, MD
Dr. Youssef is board certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of several medical associations and societies including the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American Vein and Lymphatic Society (AVLS), American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM).
