Dr. Scott R. Meisel, D.O. is a highly skilled, double board-certified, surgeon. After his medical training in New York at both Beth Israel and Nassau University Medical Centers, Dr. Meisel expanded his training and completed several fellowship programs in surgical critical care, hand surgery and burn, critical care. He has been in private practice for over 15 years caring for both general and vascular surgery patients. For the past 5 years, he honed his practice and sub-specialized in vascular medicine and vein disease management. During this time, Dr. Meisel had an extensive clinical practice performing approximately 10,000 vein procedures, primarily minimally invasive. This includes over 5,000 endovenous vein ablations. In addition, he has trained and educated multiple physicians in the field of vein and vascular medicine. Dr. Meisel enjoys being a clinician and educator as it has allowed him to become a good listener with strong communication skills and enabled him to remain current on all the latest treatment options for vein disease management. He strives to provide the highest quality of medical care for his patients.
In his free time, Dr. Meisel enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys pickleball, tennis, yoga and cooking.
